The Central Govt. Employees Consumer Cooperative Society Ltd., popularly known as Kendriya Bhandar, was set up in 1963 as a welfare project for the benefit of Central Govt. employees and public at large. It is functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Govt. of India and was registered with Delhi Registrar of Cooperative Societies. Subsequently, it was registered with the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Govt. of India as a Multi State Consumer Cooperative Society in September, 2000.
Kendriya Bhandar is into following business activities:-
- Kendriya Bhandar is a Multi-State Central Cooperative Society under the aegis of Govt. of India.
- It makes supplies of all edible/non-edible commodities to the Govt departments/Institutions/Agencies exclusively.
- It is having rich data bank of registered manufacturers/suppliers/vendors across the country.
- Ensure quality & requisite quantity of General Goods with very competitive prices & timely execution of the supplies.
- Many supply projects are executed successfully according to the requirements of the user departments.
- Source points belong to the Manufacturers/Processors/Wholesalers/Retailers/other Vendors are part of the supplies.
- It is the bridge between the Govt. dept/Institutions/Agencies and the source points for the benefit of the both.
- Our key feature is to register & mobilize the efficient suppliers/vendors to ensure quality of supplies with all parameters.
- The registered/un-registered suppliers can use our platform to offer their products to Central/State Govt. across the country.
- Kendriya Bhandar’s annual turnover has been exemplarily crossed Rs.4,000 Cr.
Kendriya Bhandar is the largest Consumer Cooperative Society in the country.
